Bright Lime-Green Juice

Being a Clinical Aromatherapist doesn't just have to do with creating wonderfully supportive blends for the body, my home and for times of need. It also has to do with a huge change in my lifestyle. It is a way of life that has come to myself and my family. Keeping healthy to begin with is a key to helping us to not need to go to the doctor as often. It is also something that Essential oils do for us humans. They are parts of plants and they help support us. Something that I have learned is that “support” for myself is the most important thing in my life including eating right, exercise, stress management and self-enrichment....
So, as a holistic, mind, body and spirit practitioner I would like to share with you part of my own holistic life style.
I just started juicing this year. I did my due diligence when it came to researching the proper type of juicer to make my juice with. That took time. I wanted to make sure I was getting the most amount of vitamins and nutrients out of my juices as possible. I also did a lot of reading on what happens to juices when frozen and as you keep them longer.
Yes, it's true they loose a bit of nutritive value. However, juicing at all and consuming juice in form of frozen cubes, rather than not juicing is STILL BETTER. So to juice or not to juice being the question; the answer is YES !
BY ALL MEANS, TO JUICE!

The process of juicing take a bit of commitment as some of you may know but the benefits far out way a 20-30min process. My energy has improved ! Other things I have noticed:
Here is the juicer that I choose to invest in after much deliberation. I had the advice of a seasoned juicer and friend and also the deep research of my husband. He loves to dive into consumer reviews. http://www.amazon.com/Omega-J8006-Nutrition-Center-Juicer/dp/B001L7OIVI/ref=sr_1_3?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1412956263&sr=1-3&keywords=juicers When I make my juice I make enough to fill a small glass jar and also two ice cube trays. This will last me about a week. The jar liquid will be used up first. Then the cubes next. Juice will only last a few days and then will not be fresh. So, that is when it is time to switch to the frozen cubes. I use both in a smoothie each morning. I will consume about ¾ cup of juice in my smoothie. Here is an example of a wonderful liver/ kidney support juice:
OR...you can put it in a smoothie, which is my favorite way to take my juices. I got a machine a little over a year ago called the NINJA Master Prep. I am totally addicted to it for making smoothies and in general for my kitchen. Here is an example of my morning smoothie:
